We want everyone to be able to shop for the Original Pooter and enjoy FARTS.com.

Our goal

FARTS.com aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard most often used to judge whether a website is accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we have done

• Every product photo and picture has a text description.
• The whole site works with a keyboard, including the menu, the cart and pop-ups, and there is a “Skip to main content” link.
• Buttons and controls are labeled for screen readers such as VoiceOver and TalkBack.
• Text is checked against the WCAG color-contrast levels.
• The site follows your device’s Reduce Motion setting.
• Sounds only play when you tap or press something, and there is a mute button.
• Pages work on phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom in.

Known limits

• Pooter Pile is a fast tapping game that depends on sight and timing. You never need it to learn about or buy the Pooter.
• You can spin the 3D Pooter by dragging it. Its squeeze is also a button you can press with a keyboard.
• The Pootorial video plays on YouTube, with YouTube’s own player and caption settings.
• Checkout runs on Shopify’s secure checkout.
